The Festival Players Theatre Company is committed to bringing you the very best in professional touring theatre.  We appreciate that not all of our audiences have previously experienced one of our major playwright’s brilliant plays presented in a colourful, clear, and entertaining production.

The company consists of seven or eight professional actors  who play all the parts. This frequently involves quick costume changes, with men doubling up as women and vice versa.

The actors are chosen through audition.  The company is committed to including a core of younger actors to give them an opportunity to gain experience of working with Shakespeare’s language and in good classical theatre. Many return time and again to play with the Festival Players.
