Thank you to everyone who came to see us perform The Taming of the Shrew in Summer 2011 - we hope you enjoyed our production.

We are now busy planning our two touring productions for Summer 2012 - a play of verbal splendour that is filled with an awareness of the sad music of humanity - and an action-packed, fast-paced 'royal' story with plenty of pageantry & fanfare for the Jubilee year!

In the meantime, don't forget you can follow our planning & preparations for Summer 2012 on: -

TWELFTH NIGHT

The Festival Players Theatre Company
Summer Tour 2012 – TWELFTH NIGHT

A splendid comedy for a summer entertainment, Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night takes you to the fabled Court of Duke Orsino, in Illyria. An entrancing love triangle of the Duke, a widowed Duchess, and a young lady posing as a young man; the machinations of a drunken Knight, a foppish Lord, and a wily Jester, against a pompous Steward; all this brought to you in the inimitable, clear, and energetic style of The Festival Players and including the specially composed music of Johnny Coppin. Fun for the whole family.
